Session Description: In 2023, the economy defied almost everyone’s expectations - the recession many expected never arrived and disinflation continued throughout the year, despite better than expected activity. The path to a soft landing is looking increasingly likely, but risks remain on both sides. The Fed will have to balance these risks to achieve a soft landing. This session will cover whether or not the Fed can pull it off.
